SECOND WEEK OF THE ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD

On the 16th of November the presentation took place at the Italian Institute of Culture of the II Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World by the Italian Embassy in Ireland, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Dublin and ENIT (Italian Agency of Tourism).
The aim of the Week, organised for the second time by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with numerous other parties, and staged in over 110 countries,  is to celebrate Italian culinary traditions as an important part of Italian identity and culture. To officiate the launch were Dr. Renata Sperandio, Director Italian Institute of Cultura, Dr Carlo Siciliano, representing the Italian Embassy Dublin and Dr Francesco Tirelli, reperesentative of ENIT London and Italian Chamber of Commerce London-Ireland.
During the evening some food companies participating in the Week offered a tasting of some of their Italian products.
From Monday 20th until Sunday 26th November several Italian restaurants will offer special Italian dishes to celebrate the week. Participating restaurants, shops and suppliers: Pinocchio Restaurant, Dunne and Crescenzi, Il Valentino, Panem, Piglet Wine Bar,Vincenzo Food and Wine Hall, Little Italy, Enoteca delle Langhe.
